Post-College Life
Hey everyone.
I graduated college last year and I quickly realized I have no idea how to function outside of a school environment. I actually got really really good at socializing in school. I was involved in a ton of different groups, always had things to go to, and whenever I had lunch or dinner with friends they would always mention how I know everyone. After graduating I have really been struggling with learning how to have a social life in the "real world." When I worked in DC I hung out with my coworkers so that helped some but now I'm in between jobs and back home with my parents, mostly because a chronic illness has come back and has been going crazy lately. But now that I'm recovering I realized I have been a complete shut in the last three months and need some kind of social life. I try to visit my friends in college when I can but that's not feasible on a constant basis. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.
