If you was really named that, no-one could've addressed you by name without cussing. I've always noticed that my last name, "Hass." spelled a cuss word for "donkey" if you took the first letter off.
I don't know what my parents almost called me when I was born, I can't remember that far back. Heck, I can barely even remember what I had for breakfast yesterday...

Had I been born a girl, I'd have been called Natalie. Dunno what other potential names I might have had, though...
I got off lightly when compared to my younger sister Charis, though - had she been born a boy, my dad apparently seriously wanted to call her Hannibal (after the Carthaginian general, not Anthony Hopkins or the guy from The A-Team ). So I think my mum was relieved when she turned out to be a girl
