I've never heard of Citlali before, but I like it very much.

I can see a kid getting a nickname based on a mis-spelling of that.

8O I didn't even think of that. Yes, that would be a problem. (*crosses off name list*)

8O What did you just say?!?!

If you was really named that, no-one could've addressed you by name without cussing. I've always noticed that my last name, "Hass." spelled a cuss word for "donkey" if you took the first letter off.

I don't know what my parents almost called me when I was born, I can't remember that far back. Heck, I can barely even remember what I had for breakfast yesterday...

It was going to be Karen before they settled on Erin.
If I had been a boy my name would have been Patrick Bryan

Had I been born a girl, I'd have been called Natalie. Dunno what other potential names I might have had, though...

I got off lightly when compared to my younger sister Charis, though - had she been born a boy, my dad apparently seriously wanted to call her Hannibal (after the Carthaginian general, not Anthony Hopkins or the guy from The A-Team :P). So I think my mum was relieved when she turned out to be a girl :)
