Supposedly the very first flush toilet as we know it was perfected and built in England in the 1500's for Queen Elizabeth to use in the palace. And the guy who did the building and perfecting was one "Thomas Crapper".

And thats supposedly where the word came from.

To me I'd say it's second tier just below garbage, I understand it may seem offensive to some people whilst garbage isn't but crap is preferable to s*** and that is preferable to the combination of effing s***, I suppose effing is fourth level and s*** is third tier. So in essence crap is a junior cuss word I guess.

I used to think it was, but now I don't think so. I usually avoid cussing, but I say crap.

"crap" is milder than "s**t" around here. Even "damn" and "hell are stronger than "crap" in my area.

If it is then my mouth is alot more foul then I thought. Then again I've been across the whole "crap is a curse word" thing before. Mostly an in school thing, I guess they just want to make sure that you're speaking english correctly.
