other autism spectrum disorder

Why do you have it in your profile?


I have it because I decided I am PDD-NOS not AS because I was slow in other areas like cognitive development I believe and I was a little slow in self help skills. I don't quite meet the AS criteria either.

Because "Have Aspergers - diagnosed" makes it sound like that was my diagnosis, and it's not.

Because NLD is not an option, and although I personally don't believe NLD is on the spectrum, "other spectrum disorder" was the nearest choice.

That is what I am.
I have some aspie tendancies....but identify myself as an ADDer...I wonder if I shound put "other"...does ADHD count as "other"?
It sure has caused me alots of problems.
