Baghdad Iraq is under a State of Emergency after massive protests stormed into Iraq's Parliament building and the Green Zone.

They are demanding the dissolution of Iraq's party system and the resignation of the U.S. backed Shia government that has ruled since the government was established in 2003.

The protesters retreated to across the street and are refusing end their protest which is causing the State of Emergency.

The Prime Minster and his government are considering formally asking the U.S. to intervene on their behalf.

The U.S. backed Shia government that has ruled since the government was established in 2003, has been active in repressing the Sunnis and others in Iraq without any issues from the U.S.

Yeah I saw this online, but you think the major news shows carried it? Heck no, it's all about Trump etc.

Americans are generally sick of hearing about Iraq and tune out when you mention Iraq.

ABC, CNN, NBC etc... are covering it tonight, but Trump just brings in more ratings.

As well they should. Trump will be the next POTUS.
