That, or co-habitation.

Sounds technically single.
I suppose becoming a priest/monk
MIGHT be a different status though.

I'm single. The number of times I've attempted to start a relationship can be counted on one hand... well maybe a mutant hand...

Can't say that I know what I'm missing... or that a really screwy long term relationship will just scar me from the whole deal altogether.

You guys make it sound like there's some "don't be single anymore" button I can press at my leisure.

Probably is. As long as you don't have
any standards.

I think my complete lack of understanding about the way relationships start would negate that.

You could find someone who understands even less than you do... then whatever you do will not be a problem.

Sure, just make certain they aren't criminals... :P

I'm finding with women... the less socially aware they are the more attractive they are.

If I ever see a woman wearing socks with sandals... she's mine...

You'd like this one then. She says very strange things over the phone, wears odd unmatching clothes, and just takes things off my desk if she needs to use them instead of asking. She also took a book from me just to see what I was reading (the cover was face-down on the table), and then promptly put it back in my hands. I'm actually pretty sure she has AS. She used to come into the store I worked at with a stack of coupons as thick as a New York best-seller. It took over an hour to process her orders and she ended up saving like 70 dollars.

A bit over the top and annoying. I mean a respect for my space and belongings... that's kind of important too... :P

But unmatching clothes... and strange conversation... that's a sign that she wouldn't have a problem with my misunderstanding of social cues.

And thrifty too... oh man...

Still single lol. Same situation - potential relationship on the cards.
I don't really care if this doesn't actually happen though - I'm fine really being a single renegade... too strong to be broken down these days.
I'm hoping that mass confusion in social environments doesn't change my attitude here...

I am very much single, but I would be willing to date those who would be able to understand me and accept me for who I am.
