When my mother passed away , i cried for two or three days off and on. loud , hard crying. When my father passed , cried once. that was it. it was immmediately after he passed.

There was no delay. I just waited to be alone while i cried. I'm embarassed to show emotion aroud others. when my other passed , it took me the hardest. I loved my father too , but i was close to my mother for 26 years of my life. My father , I only seen him like 1 hour on a weekday and maybe 2 to 5 hours on the weekend. Wasnt until the last 5 years of his life that i've got close to him.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Sound like you had a difficult time. You should be proud of yourself for all the good work you did.

Time does heal and you will feel better. You were a good son and should always remember that.
