Reasons not to vote for bernie sanders
Here are a few:
A. His economic plan does not add up. Multiple independent evaluations have demonstrated that his policy proposals regarding health care and education will massively increase the US deficit and debt. His economic plan also includes wildly unrealistic expectations about GDP growth rates and cost reductions that have little or no empirical basis.
B. His aggressively protectionist trade policy is hypocritical.. Sanders' opposition to free trade could trigger a trade war which would especially hurt the world's poor (given that free trade is - hands down - the most effective poverty relief ever invented in history).
C. He is not a serious political candidate. He consistently avoids how to specifically get his (extremely far-reaching) policy proposals approved by Congress by making vague references to his "political revolution"... Even though he is far behind Clinton in votes and delegates.
-Sanders wants to raise taxes on the poor and middle class.
-Many Americans get completely/nearly free health care now, and Sanders wants to take that away and make them pay a new health care tax.
-Sanders has proposed many regressive taxes such as a gas tax, emissions tax (carbon taxes).
-Sander's spending plans would raise the debt by tens of trillions of dollars (mentioned above)
-Sander's has proposed ending free trade agreements, tariffs and quotas which would make the prices of products go up on the things poor people buy (mentioned above)
But im interested, What are some good reasons not to vote for Bernie sanders? I saw some good points but I can't remember them
Of all the people competing to be a presidential candidate, Sanders is the closest to being a Human Person. The others are creatures of hype and glitz. Pure plastic! I plan to vote (if necessary by write-in) for Sanders in November. Not because I am a socialist (I most certainly am not) but because Sanders is a Human Being.

Huffington Post is horrible source to use on Sanders.
They are biased in favor of him and have been caught fabricating stuff for him.
They don't allow any non Sanders political comments and articles on their site anymore.
Hell they cleaned house with staff that refused to support Sanders and right pro Sanders articles.
They have become also as bad as TYT and MSNBC this cycle.
I mean people claim Fox News is Pro Trump and CNN is Pro Hillary, well Huffington Post is Pro Sanders.

Perhaps it would be prudent to look at the *actual data*, rather than taking statements from an organization solely dedicated to protectionism (see below) at face value:
728 million Chinese....
https://wrongplanet.net/forums/viewtopi ... 5#p7050325
and 31 million Vietnamese
https://wrongplanet.net/forums/viewtopi ... 4#p7050804
... have been lifted out of extreme poverty by free trade... And that's just two countries...
Oh, and some food for thought...
Here is the mission statement from the "Coalition for a Prosperous America" which produced the above Huffington Post article:
The Coalition for a Prosperous America is a nonprofit organization representing the interests of 2.7 million households through our agricultural, manufacturing and labor members. Our board and our membership includes Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Conservatives and Liberals.
The Trade Problem
America’s trade policies have caused grave harm to our country’s economy, security and people. Rather than pursuing a national goal of balanced trade, government leaders allow and enable the largest trade deficit in world history. The result is economic decline, job destruction and de-industrialization of America. Trade agreements dangerously undermine America’s sovereignty by overriding the U.S. Constitution and local, state and federal laws.
We need international commerce that roughly balances imports and exports, without surrendering sovereignty, the environment or food safety. America can have trade that promotes its industrial and agricultural policy, produces jobs, increases incomes, and preserves our strength.
Our Mission
The Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA) is working for a new and positive U.S. trade policy that delivers prosperity and security to America, its citizens, farms, factories and working people. We are an unrivaled coalition of manufacturing, agricultural, worker, consumer and citizen interests working together to rebuild an America for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren. We believe America can provide good jobs for workers, affordable goods for consumers, opportunity for farms and manufacturers and a clean environment without compromising our national sovereignty and security.
Our Activities
CPA’s focus is upon the “grass tops”… local leaders in the states and communities. We are educating citizens and local opinion leaders where they live and work. We are identifying those elected members of Congress who favor improved trade policies and, as importantly, those who do not. We hold economic summits across the country to inform local leaders on the issues. Engaging Washington is important, but politicians come home on the weekends, and must face the citizens. Engaging America is our primary focus.

Please note the conspicuous absence of any consideration about the impact trade restrictions might have on the world's poor in the mission statement...

Sanders is a democratic socialist, he is a "New Dealer". He wants to take America back to the days of FDR. Corporate media make him out be a straight up socialist because they know how bad of a word that still is here in America. But they are just fear mongering and pushing their usual propaganda filled agenda.

He supports the legalization of intoxicants, which is not only foolish, but harmful to human welfare.
His views toward the law enforcement system are misguided and his policies if enacted would undermine public welfare and undermine actual justice.
He is willing to let the pharmaceutical industry run rampant and allow them to sell unsafe and harmful products with less oversight
His free public college plan, if ever implemented, would put many private universities out of business and consequently likely reduce the academic freedom in this country.
He holds regressive views towards sex education
