Right in the FEELZ.


I am a mean ass conservative when it comes to benefits and taxes being abused. But always when I'm not struggling I pay it forward. When I was doing well, I never pass by without a blanket, a few bucks, some food.
My Dad on Christmas Eve always invited a family for dinner, very often an employee of his that fell hard. He would pay off their mortgage and if applied, medical debt. And always told me, once you are content, if you have extra beyond that, don't hoard it. Share it with the good word. Charity begins with your actions, not nameless others.

I'm not as good at it as he was. I try.

And 6 months later.. I was both Homeless adult AND child. : c I always felt bad for people that slipped under. not sure why I needed a taste of it. now I will never give to an organized charity again...ever
