Twitter and Tumblr, I used to go off on rants every fifteen minutes about the stupid hashtags and literally spin yarns for about twenty tweets at a time about anything that popped into my head, was extremely useful to spew out my excess froth that slaloms around my brain but not useful in a larger picture, can't even converse with folk on it because of the ridiculous character limits. Tumblr just incenses me, it's like twitter but with images, some people just post things they love and admire and which they feel connected to, other people use it to build a a hollow image they'd like to believe they reflect as, because they can just regurgitate things without actively engaging to much depth in what they repost, kind of like what annoyed me most about using twitter for years actually. Reminds me of a jurassic park quote from the novel; ''We expected to banish paper, but we actually banished thought.'

Pretty much anything in the deep web, not that I've ever accessed the deep web, but I've heard it's pretty bad.

OK, where do I start?

-Reddit
-YouTube (actually, I like it, I just hate the comment sections)
-Tumblr
-Pinterest
-More Awesome Than You (Sims mod site)
-Yahoo Answers

The list goes on and on........

SpringerLink and the other %&#suckers who put everything behind a pay wall.

Kings, Pharaohs, Emperors, Sultans, Czars, and Dictators have imposed their will upon their subjects. This pattern has not changed over the millennia and it remains so, today. Our Masters rule over every nation and no one can defy them. They will attain Absolute Power as we reach the Singularity. All those who oppose their will, will be destroyed. Given the obvious futility, I will not resist. 2+2=5.

I have a love hate relationship with Wrong Planet.
Great discussions, horrific software

I think you mean Dark Web, via Tor etc. Deep Web is pages that aren't available in Google. Eg.: Your email inbox.

Regarding the topic, I'd have to say any news site that puts their content behind a paywall. Or Facebook. Haven't had an account on there for a good 6 years.

Same here, but still actively use it. I haven't found a better alternative that actually has a decent amount of content. :(

Basic criteria on unfavorable websites:

* Sites that have content of no redeeming social, and constructive values.
* The many sites that are overrated!
* Sites that depict our worst behaviors.
* Sites with content laden with lies, mistruths, etc. e.g., fake-news.
* Sites that are filled with pop-up (next to impossible to delete) ADs; ADs that also slow-down, and even grind a site's operations "down to a halt!" - sites which are best avoided in the first place!
