I am a sponsor for a high school step dance team with a long history of winning awards at major competitions. Good quality step dance is a crowd pleaser. Students go wild when the team does a show at a school assembly. Suppose that I could teach anyone to dance. In addition, you would immediately have 20 close friends.

Would you want to step with us if you were a high school student?

I've done jump style dance before, which is a form of step dance.
I'd sign up as long as it doesn't involve clogs

I used to because I thought it'll make me happy. Then I realized, it's not for me. Not yet anyway.
I know the perks and that empowering territorial feeling of popularity. I also know the anxious feeling like of pleasing everyone for reputation's sakes and make no mistake for tarnishing it.

My answer at the moment is: Not now.
I sort of have this love and hate relationship with being popular. :|
