I heard both domestic and Islamic terrorism.

And I was about to write a response to Kraichgauer's Spokane Pride post...

... about a similar Pride event in Aarhus last week with no incidents whatsoever...

... :(

... The political fallout is going to be ugly as hell...

This is just the beginning. ISIS said there would be several terrorist attacks this month.

Enough is a enough, ISIS must be destroyed. It seems likely this killer was a refugee or was the child of refugees, another glum warning of what we should expect more of down this current path we find ourselves down.

Someone on Facebook linked an article calling the shooter a devout Muslim. I clicked it thinking, "Oh, they already figured that out." Nope. Checked the article, and all it said was that authorities were investigating to see if there was a link. There very well may be. As much as I hate to say it, I'm inclined to believe he was a Muslim. But I wish journalists wouldn't jump to conclusions and slap on provocative titles before they have all the facts. It's a great way to spread paranoia and misinformation.

Some more (needs verification):

- Death toll now updated to at least 50 individuals
- Shooter was a 29-year old US citizen born in 1986 in New York to parents from Afghanistan
- Shooter was known to law enforcement, but not target of a specific investigation

Sounds like they must of been monitoring this guy or something, they knew who he was and what his motivations were very quickly. Going to be very interesting learning about who the real Omar Mateen is.

This is just sickening to wake up to. To wake up and find out the worst attack on US soil to happen since 9/11 in your town. My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of those killed and injured.

The pundits told us months ago that ISIS wants Trump to win -- to stir up hated towards Muslims.
