I’ve recently made key lime pie and tiramisu. Does that work for the cafe?

Creakiness has been increasing rapidly over the past year.

I would love some chamomile tea and some ladyfinger cookies if you have them.

This cold weather is making me very creaky this morning.

Like clockwork, every six months (or thereabouts), I have to come and administer CPR to this thread.

I have a new dog.

News over.

ZZZzzz...

Green Tea (or White or Yellow) for me, please. Weak. Warm not hot. Thank you.

Um...any chance of something stronger? I'm old enough and not driving.

Sorry to hear your troubles, Jakki.

I've been fairly healthy for the last year, after my couple of call-outs when my heart went a bit fast (150 bpm). The first time, late evening, the ambulance arrived and my heart rate promptly went back to 70 bpm. They hung about monitoring me for an hour, then cleared off when I seemed to not be dying. On the second occasion, again late evening, the first responder couldn't get an ambulance to appear for half an hour, so he drove me the 20 miles to my hospital of choice, where my bpm immediately dropped to 70. The net cost for both was £20 (2 am taxi fare to get home on the second occasion). My GP has given me some Bisoprolol, in case it happens again. That's the NHS for you.

And, as a result of the above, I've been near-teetotal for the year. I was drinking a beer and a bottle of wine every evening. I thought that might have been a contributing cause. Last night I finished off the single bottle of 12.5% ABV Merlot I'd been drinking for four days. So, "Double Retired", I'm afraid I've only got "less than 0.5% ABV" Cabernet-Tempranillo to offer you.

I'll just finish off my Dutch "Bavaria" 0% beer now, before going to bed. Dentist visit in the morning to get my nine teeth checked out. (wave)

That would be lovely.. Thank you for Asking . .. Am afraid the intensity of the Summertime heat here , Maybe a little challenging for many of my common orange lillies and my tiger Lillies blooms , The Peonies have passed their prime and are in need of dead heading . Hope my knee joint will be up to the task. Probably hard to find a flower that can survive in a outdoor hot environment that is a Perennial. Pours out alittle more tea. :)

I just checked - and discovered that my "new" dog is still the same one as my previous new dog. I.e. he's still Yoshi. I also noticed that I'd already mentioned my tachycardia, etc.
Remembering what you have said, and to whom, gets to be a bit problematic. I might well be back in another six months to repeat everything.
Look out, there's a second childhood coming on!

His matress is 106.7 x 71.1 x 7.6 centimetres. He weighs 37.5kg, just over half my weight.
Yoshi being busy

Just hot water for me please. Is there any cake?

Latest garden news here is the fledgling blackbirds polishing off the last of the morello cherries. Missed them again!

Latest dog news is a smaller black and white female version of Yoshi in a very similar busy pose.

Jakki, we have lots of perennials that bloom in the heat of the summer. How cold do your winters get?

Right now I have blooming native swamp hibiscus, dune sunflower, blazing star, coreopsis, bromeliads of several types, button bush just finished flowering. Bromeliads are tropical, but you could overwinter them in a garage.

Tea refill would be great, my dear. Holds out china tea cup on saucer. Ha! :D
