Has anyone considered joining the Pink Pistols? They're a gay gun group opposing gun control.

Pink Pistols isn't the only LGBT Second Amendment advocacy group in the United States, but it is probably the largest, especially after the membership explosion following the Orlando shootings.

I'd join if I was American.

I seem to remember that Pink Pistols has chapters in Canada and, maybe, one or two spots in Europe. In any case, joining the group doesn't require U.S. citizenship (though such citizenship would help in attending its chapters' meetings).

When I read the tittle, I thought this thread would be about a female punk band.

Former U.S. Sen. Barry Goldwater criticized the military's ban on homosexuals in the 1990s and said "Everyone knows that gays have served honorably in the military since at least the time of Julius Caesar." He also said, "You don't need to be 'straight' to fight and die for your country. You just need to shoot straight."
