Lavender is supposed to have a calming effect on anxiety.

Here in Europe I can buy lavender capsules, called "Lasea". It doesn't always help, but I do feel it helps me at times.

I would avoid licorice, it contains an enzyme that blocks testosterone. That'll actually increase anxiety.

This survey of scientific studies suggests the testosterone reduction is minor. I can eat just two pieces of licorice and stop.

I agree with really strenuous exercise (especially swimming).

Stimming (I find a sneaky ways, with my toes/feet or in a jacket pocket).

High sugar and fat foods (trying to avoid, sometimes necessary).

Alcohol/drugs (don't do either anymore).
