A merino wool top, apparently it will stop feeling itchy after 2 or 3 days
What a coincidence. I look forward to the fall season as I can wear my woolens to keep me warm. I've gotten used to the texture and find that it may even be a good thing overall in helping me desensitize.
I'm wearing a black merino wool short sleeved T shirt. And on top of that, an unusual short sleeved Pendleton Board Shirt which is also 100% wool. It's unusual because you don't normally see short sleeved wool shirts. I have probably 6-7 different colors/patterns of the long sleeved version of the board shirt that I rotate in wearing throughout the fall and winter. I like the board shirt because it's flat across the bottom rather than having shirt tails. therefore it's appropriate for wearing untucked. I've never been able to stand tucking in my shirts unless I'm wearing a sport or suit coat over the tucked in shirt (which I almost never do).
Also, boxers, jeans, socks and hiking shoes.
I'm enjoying the merino top this evening, it's not itchy. I have 2 Icebreaker merino long sleeve tops, one is thin, the other thick.
I'm wearing an Icebreaker 260 top, merino Buff for my head, walking trousers and Gore-tex trainers.
