Sunday/Christmas Dinner doesn't need meat/meat alternative like nut roast. The stars of that meal are: Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and parsnips. That meal requires parsnips from Christmas dinner on, though.

Don't eat parsnips before 25th of December, it tastes bitter.

Chocolate pizza tastes nowhere near as bad as people think it will. People get thrown by 'pizza'. That's just aesthetics. If you like a chocolate bun with sponge base, you will like chocolate pizza cos it's just a decorative version of that.

In any case, this fear of sweet and savoury is a nineteenth century invention. Not only do I like Hawaiian pizza but I also like noodles with bananas and pineapple, banana curry, pineapple curry etc. I even like chocolate in things, avoid it cos it's not healthy & a slippery slope but... tastes good.

Banana tastes better fried.

Roast potatoes taste better with honey on top.

Went to a carvery place once. Didn't like the veggie option and most of the veg was too hard so I just had two massive plates of roast potatoes and gravy, it was great.

My husband puts pineapple on pizzas and uses brown sauce instead of tomato.

Have you ever had Mexican mole sauce. It traditionally has dark chocolate with a bunch of other spices in it. It's heaven on chicken. I love it but much of my family doesn't. Which I find strange because they like the spicy hot chocolate I make.

That's another one of my favorites that many others find weird. My homemade hot chocolate has ancho chili, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, Chipotle peppers, and vanilla steeped in milk and a mix of 68% and 53% chocolate in it. (No powdered chocolate )

Also, I agree bananas are yummy fried, so are plantains.

Yeah, I'm used to it being called steak sauce, but obviously brown sauce is the native name since they always try to incorporate British imagery with it over here.

I like oatmeal raisin cookies and black licorice. I don't like ketchup.

Oatmeal cookies! Yes! But not with chocolate chips ffs! And not with ginger or tons of sugar??! !

Maybe they should actually taste like ... oatmeal?! They shouldn't be ... yellow?

I don't mind raisins in them, but it's almost impossible to find oatmeal cookies that taste or even look like oatmeal.

I hate steak. Like trying to eat a giant, grimy eraser that bleeds everywhere. It's the one food which everyone I know (even current vegetarians) raves about, but I have never eaten a steak of any kind that I enjoyed. And my parents are ultra-carnivorous, so I've tried quite a few. Fillet is the worst- it adds a whole new element of bath sponge to the general foulness.

Roast beef, on the other hand, is amazing. Respect the cow. Roast it.
