One Gold Coast man discovered the hard way that not all autistic people can count cards.

I might head to the casino. I tried the slots but I don't see the point of being raped by a system not in my favor. I am going to try blackjack tomorrow I can't count cards wish someone would sit down and show me but I can play blackjack

Well, i suppose he learnt the hard way that not every one on the 'Spectrum' is like rainman! Tough life lesson of discovering facts first hand... Ouch!

Close, but the answer we were looking for is "Should we sell the 1949 Buick Roadmaster convertible?!?"

I've tried counting cards in the past, but found my working memory is too much crap.

I have had people think that I possess such abilities, and then it's awkward when they discover I have the disadvantages of autism without the positives

Girls on my softball team thought I could count cards. I am not sure how they figured me out.

I just counted cards. There were 52 of them, so what?

How to have fun at a casino and lose the least amount of money.

Go to the craps table and bet the dice thrower will win. Get free drinks and cheer them on. When offered the dice, simply decline.

I will leave the math for another place and time.

Correction no one is like rainman. Savants tend to have a special skill in a very limited area. While rainman does not.

Dustin Hoffman's character, Raymond Babbitt, was based largely on Kim Peek, a neighbor of mine before he died. Peek appeared to have so many different special interests because his special skill was his eidetic memory of everyone he ever met and everything he ever heard, said or read. He could discuss anything with anybody.

Best way to win at a casino:

1.) Sign up for Social Rewards and earn $10/month in casino reward credits for sharing advertisements for Caesars Entertainment on social media.

2.) Wait three or four months and then eat free food with your reward credits at the casino.

3.) Walk away afterward with a full belly of food.

4.) The End.
