A lot of people tell me that I'm meek. I think it's because I can be really soft spoken, especially when I'm tired. I can also be awkward, have trouble figuring things out that are very simple and I'm starting to think that I say sorry at the wrong times. I think this is causing problems for me because a lot of people target me. There are also a lot of others that seem to pity me and I won't be able to relate to someone if they don't see me as an equal.

Does anyone else have these problems? What do you do about it?

I appear more confident when I know what I am talking about in any situation.

I believe I have lived some--and I know what to do, and what not to do in certain situations. I believe this knowledge helps me to seem more confident.

"Saying what you mean, and meaning what you say" is very applicable in this situation.

Overall, conveying the sense that you are a stable person emotionally, and that you have some idea about what you are talking about, is important in somebody exuding confidence.
