I need a freaking blow horn to remind me. I have never really been a big water drinker which is probably my problem - Miss UTI Queen.

It can be overdone. You shouldn't drink so much that you are always peeing clear. But yes, the appropriate amount of water is essential to feeling good.

yes when one consumes an excessive huge amount of water in a short amount of time this can lead to death,
anything thats not taken in moderation can lead to death, but one has to be really dumb to die like that

drink water people it won't kill you. at least it's more healthy than soda and juice

I wonder what would happen to a living thing that consumed heavy water [H3O]?

That reminds me! *drinks a glass of water*
The bathroom thing though, I hate spending too much time in there. I still need to drink more water and suck it up.

I drink a lot but I have some health issues that drinking a lot of water helps. It's easy for me to remember to drink a lot cuz I'm on meds that make me more thirsty.

I know I should drink a lot more water than I do (which is usually no more than a glass a day with my thyroid med in the morning along with my usual 2 cups of coffee which has water in it), but I don't like the lack of taste. Crystal Light usually solves that problem, though. I definitely can't keep up the recommendation of eight 8oz glasses a day, which has been debunked anyway (hey, that rhymed). Too much water flushes electrolytes out of your system.

If you can drink the amount of water you expel through sweating and peeing you're doing pretty good. Also, if you pinch the top of your hand and it goes right back to the way it was, you're hydrated enough. If it holds form, you're dehydrated. (Lucky for me, in spite of how little water I actually drink, mine goes right back to normal so I don't worry about it). If you're constipated or in excessive heat, there's no such thing as "too much water."

I have a water bottle with me all the time, I do drink more water when its hot though.
I have a jug of water in the fridge and then pour it in my water bottle when its low.
