Is Life, Animated worth the read/watch?

I saw a trailer for the documentary on Facebook and saw in the comment section that there is a book that the documentary is based on. I see that it's highly rated, but I don't see any opinions from actually autistic people. I'm considering reading the book, but I'm worried it will end up being inspiration porn. Has anybody on this forum read/seen the story? What are your thoughts?
...If nothing else , please check out my line titled " Two autistic documentaries " ! !! !! !! !! !!
