I am counting down the days to when I'll feel entitled to turn on my upstairs heater (electric) and my downstairs one (gas), which I don't do until the start of November. That's a pretty reliable indication of the arrival of Autumn (or even early Winter) chez moi.

First rain, though it's still 30°C. Cool evening breeze.

There's lots of (gloomy) daylight showing through the sycamore tree outside my window, and slimy pavements everywhere from the fallen leaves being mashed up with all the rain we've had (the entire month's-worth in the first week of October in a lot of the UK).

[and I will scream if anyone mentions the clocks going back next weekend. Oh, I just did - Aaaaarrrrgggghhhh!! !! :skull: ]

I was rather puzzled just then. I missread the title. I thought it was "Signs Of Autism (Post Them Here)" I assumed the post had gone off topic in a rather strange way!

Minds have seasons? I've not thought about that. Is a level of thinking that I have not considered.

Really? Oh no. I know as autism has been quite a recent discovery to latch onto for me... And that when I latch onto something I don't let go until I have satisfies myself that I know all I need to know about it.
This could just be some sort of trait? An obsession trait?

It's a special interest , that's all ( a thirst for knowledge ). Sometimes special interests can tip over into obsessions , I was being flippant when I said obsessing.
