it seems to me that an excessively animated sign argument with the self can degenerate in the wink of an eye, into a poke in the eye. :o

I remember one time walking by a guy on the city sidewalk who was standing in front of a mirrored window chewing out his reflection.

I talk to myself a lot! I try not to do it too much in public though, and if I do, it's usually underneath my breath. Occasionally, someone will ask me what I said.

I wonder if some of it has to do with being lonely. The conversations I have with myself are usually way more interesting and engaging than the conversations I have with other people. They are quite often funny too.

Sometimes I'll imagine I'm talking to a specific person. The conversation always goes more smoothly and more in depth than it would if I was really talking to that person.
