the waves travel at different speeds based on the density of the rock, so the deep waves are fast - dense iron, compressed by everything on top of it.

one of my interests is geology, but mainly how it influences plants.

Y'know, that video is almost slightly sinister, or eerie somehow. The sound definitely adds to that effect.

I'm interested in Geology too. Nature, its power and beauty amazes me. It is so creative...and destructive in a scary and awesome way.
