I keep feeling depressed at work lately because I'm so shy. I talk a lot to co-workers who I work with a lot, but those that I don't really work with I find hard to know what to say to when I am in their presence. Some I haven't ever had a conversation with before, but who have worked there as long as I have.

I wish I was the more chatty type. I've figured out that if you're outgoing and chatty at work, it actually makes worklife more bearable, even if you don't like your job much. But when you're quiet and solitary like me, I think it makes it harder to get motivated, and gives you more time to think and analyze and have all sorts of emotions and thoughts going on inside you, which makes life at work more harder to endure.

Does anyone else feel the same?
