Two Undiscovered Dark Moons Appear to Be Hiding Near Uranus

i'll be disappointed if no one makes a joke about this one

I think it's time to probe the rings around Uranus.

A long term orbiter like MRO with a good instrument package and big antenna would make a great mission.

I think that the OP has it backwards.

Uranus is usually concealed between your two moons.

I think it's best to have those surgically removed. Could be cancerous. Dark moons can never be a good thing...

They are either hemorrhoids or dingleberries.

there's also the pronunciation some people give the planet, sounding like "urinous".

Those dark moons aren't cancerous, they are Kilngons that have not been wiped out yet.

Uranus is so big, dark moons love to play hide and seek around it.

Both pronunciations are scatological. If not for my fascination with the Great Red Spot on Jupiter, Uranus would be my favorite planet just for that.

Jupiter, and Saturn, are both hard acts to follow. Saturn with its lovely rings,and its moon Titan (a place so wierd that its...normal.... and oddly like earth) and Jupiter with its huge size and mass, Red Spot, and system of dozens of moons.

But if they keep discovering new hidden moons are around Neptune and Uranus (the two are kinda twins of each other) those two might start to upstage.

Even tiny Pluto turned out to be more fascinating than they imagined -with its mountains - and moons of its own.

This thread reminds me of the wonderful humor the aspie engineers wrote in my engineering building restroom at college. If I didn't know this website was full of us aspies, I'd have figured it out from the humorous responses to this thread
