due to request from a WP member, I present this poll of results of the personality disorder test, below-
http://www.4degreez.com/misc/personalit ... er_test.mv
I couched the results as "higher or lower" of each listed disorder, because the WP poll format allows for only 20 selections. higher result = high or very high; lower result = moderate or low. I put the various personality disorders in the same order as they are on the test so you won't have to search for the result for each line of the poll. :flower:
if you wanna talk about your results, please do so.

not too many high-scoring antisocials, so far.

compared to no disorder at all, it is a disorder, but in the context of asd, sometimes it's hard to tell if it's a disorder or an adaptation. looking at some of the main problems i have in my life, i really don't know if, as a rule, schizoid pd is the cause of those problems or part of what makes them tolerable

(about the test, btw, for anyone curious if they may or may not have a personality disorder, my impression is that anything other than "very high" usually doesn't mean much in terms of possibly having an actual personality disorder)

that's kinda odd though, because in theory (nowadays at least) pd's aren't supposed to be diagnosed before early adulthood. maybe back then schizoid pd and asperger's were still synonymous? (iirc, hans asperger used the word schizoid to name what was later renamed as asperger's, and the concept of schizoid pd was sort of an offshoot of what he first observed and documented). afaik to this day there's no clear distinction between schizoid pd and asperger's (there is a distinction, but it's not clear. and the overlap is pretty big)
