Best form of education/therapy for autistic children?

In your opinion, what is the best form of education and therapy for autistic children and why? Inclusion, Special Ed, some combination of the two, homeschooling (with or without a certain kind of therapy)? Please be specific. Thank you!

That's an impossible question to answer. Kids with autism are different. Each child is going to need different things in life.

The only constant, in my experience, is that they all need care and education that is relationally based - that we focus on creating a safe, comfortable and joyful home/school for everyone involved, and that care givers focus on learning how to understand the autistic person's communication as much as they work to help the autistic communicate in standard English.

It really is a nonsensical place in which we find ourselves today, in that we seem to expect that we will someday discover one best way to educate everyone. That's just weird.

It should be tailored to each individual child. One size does not fit all.
