when I'm hot and sweaty outside in the warmer months, a good spring or summer rain is just what the doctor ordered.

Yes, i enjoy overcast, snowy and rainy days. Lack of sun in my book is a good thing.

I do like rain, but the change in weather before the rain gives me a headache. I don't want it to rain on the day I have tennis lessons, because I don't want to slip and fall on the court.

I like the rain, especially if there's a gale blowing as well.

Not in urban London, no. Rain in a city is dirty, and instead of hearing any drip-drops -- which is a lovely sound -- the only thing I hear is a constant, harsh white noise SWOOSHING of traffic driving fast through the wet main street outside. I never get to hear that gentle raindrop sound, just the SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH of frantic wheels on tarmac.

It's a dirty, unpretty thing in a city. Rain is miserable to me, particularly since I don't even have a car -- I'm out gettign soaked on foot or on my bike. Yeah that's enjoyable..not. I like sunshine.

I do not feel happy if I'm walking somewhere or if my plans get changed to avoid going out in the rain. Otherwise rain doesn't really affect me unless my allergies have been acting up because of pollen & then I'm hoping that the rain will clear the air out some.

I drove home in a light rain yesterday. I don't mind driving in the rain, but my car is filthy.

I often find it that when it rains for it to be very peaceful & calming by all accounts.

I'm pretty much on the same page as Shirley Manson. As a kid, I always viewed the post-rain fresh air as a new start and hoped one day after a rainstorm people would just stop driving so the air could continue smelling clean.

Yes, I was a very simple child. :duh:

Just before it rains, I can feel the pressure building, so the rain is a release. I love a proper shower. It also helps me concentrate.
