how do you pronounce 2016?

if we said 2004 as "twenty-oh-four", how would we pronounce the year 2000? "twenty hundred"?


or "two hundred ten". whichever you like.

what is this decade called? the tens? the teens?

next decade is simple. back to the twenties again.

i've seen both used. "tens" a bit more often.

the last decade was the "noughties", but that seems like a recent development.

i hope we get to see flappers again. (but not the gangs)
