^ Tumblrs great for discovering new stuff you like too btw. It's kinda like pinterest but there's more social options. I've made a few other autistic friends off there. It's not a bad site if you just stay away from all the porn blogs/childish ones. You hear nasty stuff about it cause it's just a popular site, it's like facebook but for blogging so it's pretty diverse in what is actually on there. If you were gonna make a proper blog though I'd just say go down the get a real domain/your own site route. Tumblr is just for fun blogging/sharing other peoples pictures you like I'd say.

I go to a particular social website a lot. Wrong Planet.

I have a Facebook account, but almost never use it.

Was using Linked In for a while, should get back into that maybe.

Havent started a Twitter account yet.

I'm on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Tumblr the most. I had to make a Twitter account for a college class but I never use it.

That's probably a good idea.

Probably. Any particular reason why though? I feel like I'm missing something.

I have profiles in many but I often don't know how to use it properly, neither use with frequency. Currently, I'm on facebook (I mostly keep it because otherwise I would feel completely alienated from people I know as I don't know how to keep contact with them, but sometimes I doubt if it's worth because I started disliking so many people because of it), instagram (I occasionally post photos but I don't know how to engage with people, tag and etc), twitter (I've been on it since 2008 but I still don't know how to engage with people there, I just go there occasionally to complain about something or comment a TV show), deviantart (I used to be more active and I'm trying to get back but slowly), tumblr (I sometimes reblog stuff but I never understand how to engage with people), 500px (I start it last week, I often try some photo-related site but I again I can't engage much with the community).

I used to be quite active on Orkut, it now ended but it was a great website and very popular on Brazil (where I'm from) it was a bit like facebook but more focused on forum/group, which was great.

Apologies for not explaining. Two reasons.

1) Facebook can cause Facebook envy. You see people with better possessions/vacations/jobs/achievements/relationships/hobbies/friends than you but remember people usually only post the best parts of their lives on Facebook

2) Flamewars. Not the fun ones we have here, Facebook has some really nasty ones. Complete waste of time, you insult eachother for 200 posts them both of you say you won.

I only use facebook but I'm hating it.
Oh also I have an account on a penpal site that I occasionally visit.
Thinking of having a tumblr account to share my art but I need to come to terms with the idea of 'sharing' at first.

I only do YouTube. I am a gamer on YouTube who makes videos on The Sims 1, and I have over 1,000 subscribers with nearly a million overall video views. I just like to be myself on there and I do YouTube for fun, even if I have a partnership that pays me way below minimum wage.

I used to do Facebook, but I left after being harassed by scammers. I do not plan on ever going back there. Plus, I don't like the idea of sharing every waking moment of my life on there.

Apart from this place, only Facebook. Which I have a love/hate relationship with. I'd be lonelier without it, but also less stressed. As I'm so crap at communicating with friends, it's good to have Facebook as a low-pressure way to do it. But when I'm depressed or anxious, I don't really interact with people, just read lots of stuff in the news feed that makes me worse. Wierdly enough, a lot of my best conversations on Facebook are with people I've barely met in real life. But I never feel I can be 100% honest on there. Probably just as well, given their privacy issues.

I use Soundcloud, but don't make much use of its (limited) social network functions- I mainly post links on Facebook, or swap links via email with a musician friend.

I tried Twitter, and still have an account. I don't get how to use it, though. I couldn't seem to follow a conversation or filter anything interesting out of the flow. I think it's optimised for someone who has a smartphone in their hands 24/7, not someone like me who's only online a few hours a week. The one thing I liked was the character limit, because I like writing and it's an interesting challenge. My few tweets were mostly haiku. But most of the tweets I saw were built around pictures, links or videos, which felt like cheating to me!

I don't it's weird.
Why would I want people to see my photo's, or my birthday.
Or gossip about me or my relationship. And the stalkers.

If someone truely cares about me, they will txt or email, or visit.

None. They got overwhelming, sensory overload, or whatever the correct terminology is, so over the last couple years I gradually left all of them.
