I answered the phone one night.

The guy on the other end growled "ya gonna run that thing all night?".

I replied "Uhhh....what thing?".

He said "THAT PUMP! On your swimming pool!".

Since our house didnt have a swimming pool I replied "Uhmmm...I think that you got the wrong number."

He apologized and hung up.

Poor guy. Someone WAS running a pump, and that guy vented his spleen, and it was on a wrong number! Lol!

But the point is running loud machinery in the middle of the night does not endear you to your nieghbors.

I was woken up at 3 am this morning by some azzhat running his snowblower. He was blocks away in this semi-urban area.

I thought of you all while I plotted his murder.

(No, I wouldn't go through with it, but if the dude were to fall on the ice at three am and sprain his ankle, I would not be upset.)

Only if something has driven you temporarily insane.

It depends upon the reason why the guy ran the snowblower.

If he had to get his car out so he can go to work, then I feel it's justified (though it is 3 in the morning).

Probably if you lived in the middle of nowhere. If there's anyone else around, not recommended :)

That's it. You're going down with him.

Anything that makes noise and wakes up the neighbors is a bad idea.
