In no specific order:

Nightwish - "Dead Boy's Poem," "Ghost Love Score," and maybe "Beauty Of The Beast" (last two may or may not be considered "sad songs")
Tristania - "A Sequel Of Decay," and "Evenfall"
After Forever - "Eccentric"
Virgin Black - "...And I Am Suffering"
Kamelot - "Love You To Death"
Epica - "Run For A Fall"

This probably isn't a complete list.

"Name" - The Goo Goo Dolls

"It Only Hurts When I Breathe" - Shania Twain

"Goin' Crazy" - Natalie

"I Pray" - Amanda Perez

All of Metronome's songs are, when the lyrics are translated very sad, dissociative, distant, ect,ect but they always sound happy. There is one that actually sounds sad and a couple that are less 8bit, gamewave, electronic and more hard.

War On Drugs~BNL

She likes to sleep with the radio on
so she can dream of her favorite song
the one that no one has ever sung since she...was small
She'll never know that she made it up
she had a soul and we ate it up
thrown away like a paper cup, the music falls...

The only flaw in her detailed plan
is where she wins back the love of her man
everyone knows that he never coming back
He took her heart and she took his name
he couldn't stand taking all the blame
he left her only with guilt and shame and then... she cracked...

(chorus)
Won't it be dull when we rid ourselves of all these demons haunting us to keep us company
Won't it be odd to be HAPPY like we always thought we're supposed to be, but never seem to be...

In the dream I refuse to have
she falls asleep in a luke-warm bath
we're left to deal with the aftermath again
On behalf of humanity, I will fight for your sanity
how profound such profanity can be

(chorus)

Near wher I live there's a viaduct
where people jump when they're out of luck
raining down on the cars and trucks below
They put a net there to catch their fall, like that'll stop anyone at all
what they don't know is when nature calls you go

They say that Jesus and mental health
are just for those who can help themselves
but what good is that when you live in Hell on Earth

From the very fear that makes you wanna die
is just the same as what keeps you alive
it's way more trouble than some suicide is worth (long, strained, and very dramatic)

(chrous)

Hard to admit I fought the war on drugs
My hands were tied and the phone was bugged
Another died and the world just shrugged it off...

eels - it's a Motherf***er

It's a Motherf***er
Being here without you
thinking 'bout the good times
thinkin 'bout the bad
And I won't ever be the same

It's a Motherf***er
Getting through a Sunday
Talking to the walls just me again

But I won't ever be the same
I won't ever be the same

It's a Motherf***er
How much I understand
The feeling that you need someone
To take you by the hand

And you won't ever be the same
You won't ever be the same

Drugs Don't Work
» The Verve

All this talk of getting old
It's getting me down my love
Like a cat in a bag, waiting to drown
This time I'm comin' down

And I hope you're thinking of me
As you lay down on your side
Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

But I know I'm on a losing streak
'Cause I passed down my old street
And if you wanna show, then just let me know
And I'll sing in your ear again

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

'Cause baby, ooh, if heaven calls, I'm coming, too
Just like you said, you leave my life, I'm better off dead

All this talk of getting old
It's getting me down my love
Like a cat in a bag, waiting to drown
This time I'm comin' down

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

'Cause baby, ooh, if heaven calls, I'm coming, too
Just like you said, you leave my life, I'm better off dead

But if you wanna show, just let me know
And I'll sing in your ear again

Now the drugs don't work
They just make you worse
But I know I'll see your face again

Yeah, I know I'll see your face again
Yeah, I know I'll see your face again
Yeah, I know I'll see your face again
Yeah, I know I'll see your face again

I'm never going down, I'm never coming down
No more, no more, no more, no more, no more
I'm never coming down, I'm never going down
No more, no more, no more, no more, no more
