I had a little bit of a crush on her when I was a kid.
Goodnight, sweet lady.

This from an old episode of The Dick van Dyke Show. It sums up how much in love Rob and Laura with each other.

You Wonderful You

I'm glad I met you
You wonderful you
I can't forget you
You wonderful you
You're like a breath of spring
A whole new thing that's happened
And without much adue
I look at you and
There stands love
My arms around you
That's wonderful too
So glad I found you
You wonderful you
Remember
Finders' keepers
Loosers weepers
And because it's true
You're mine now
You wonderful you.

Okay this is weird, because I was literally just getting ready to watch the Mary Tyler Moore show for the first time ever. I already have it loaded on another tab.

I forgot, Captain Steubing (or rather the actor who played him later on) was on her show.

He was the captain on a very unfunny comedy called The Love Boat, which stayed on the air for years only because that was in the days before a wide choice of programs for people to watch, and so people had little choice but to suffer through it. When they had tried to resurrect the show with different actors years later, it flopped.

She was also a strong advocate for adopting shelter dogs, and endeavor near and dear to me.
