I had a job as a dishwasher and had a few crappy part time jobs. I live in CA where the cost of living is really horrible. My family became financially irresponsible and I don't have the ability to live on my own or own a car.

I am currently trying to find another job, but I haven't gotten anything. I really am beginning to just give up.

I work part time at a bank as a greeter. I also do other simple jobs that need to be done.

Keeping gainfully employed has been challenging. I'm not good with people. But good at most things I can get my hands on. To bad the former means so much and the latter so little.

Thank you kindly, Kiprobalhato! :)

It's been quite a roller coaster ride this past year.

Well, I sometimes think I missed my true calling as an FDA inspector. Lucky you!
(just kidding, well sorta ... some of my tech writing assignments were in the medical device industry ...) :D

I give you much credit, Kipro ...

I once volunteered to work in a kitchen for a Women's Retreat weekend.
It was 95 degrees outside, and they soon discovered that
I could not handle preparing food for large numbers of people ...
couldn't even peel potatoes fast enough,
so they awarded me the job of
* drumroll please * ...
Dishwasher!

It was all going fine, until
the dishwasher broke!
But I survived. :D

Glad you had an overall good experience! 8)
