I've had so many. Learning disabled, developmentally disabled, ADD, ADHD, social anxiety disorder, pervasive personally disorder, etc... But most of my past labels fit in the ASD. So a new label but there's help for this one. Not here's some pills see you next month. Finding help in my area is the real problem. It's hard to talk to people, to get in the classes to learn how to talk to people.

I was just going to post in an introduction thread and say, I don't know if I'm on the spectrum or not, or how how along, but does it really matter?
We're all just people trying to make our way through this world. I don't want to step on any toes here though. If putting that label on yourself gives you a positive sense of identity, good stuff :)

Can I ask what happens when you're formally diagnosed? Do they recommend classes?

I don't know, I'm having trouble navigating the system. But I've read about classes that help with relationships and communication. That's my biggest deficiency.
