It seems plausible that hands have some probability of having any germs that one might find on the buttocks, as well as any gems one might find on the nose, and any that might be on anything a person could touch, or indeed anything on the hands of any other person if you both touch the same thing. Think seriously about your touchscreen phone if you dare.
Maybe we can all agree that the world needs more bidet toilets.
