If you fall down an escalator going up, do you ever stop falling?

You will likely fall at a pace faster than the escalator is going up, so you will eventually hit the ground.

I was at the Greyhound station in New York City & an old man fell off an escalator going up because he went on with his walker. I guess he didn't know there was an elevator there cuz it's kinda hidden.

Well, I've fallen down an escalator going down. Can't say I reached terminal velocity before the end - guess I'll have to try it from this angle next time - life goals. :)

I'd expect that if you don't reach the bottom after some time, employees will stop the escalator, so you'll reach the bottom eventually.
