I saw this go by (link) and I thought "Well that's weird". I haven't seen anything more recent than 2012 relating to this study. Thoughts?

Yes, here's a thought which is important I think: Fragile X Syndrome is often confused with autism (and it is possible to have both). Autism is far better known than FXS, hence there is missed and misdiagnosis going on - FXS is missed altogether in ?? cases and misdiagnosed as autism.

Articles which claim what the linked one does, yet ignore the diagnostic confusion which exists lack credibility to me.
