I'm gonna miss 'em and the dogs (canines). Don't know what I'll do next for exercise or people watching.

I did that, well, at the college pool. Swimming was one of the best exercises for me. Just had the hardest time with the breathing part. I’m hoping to get a gig that will be rural and only a couple months long, hoping for one in New Mexico. How rural are you, if I may ask?

Finished a 3 hour endurance race on the lead lap. Don't ask how far back.

Packed up three different boxes for dispatch
Including one ^ with wet stuff in it (very tricky to do)
Shovelled more snow, attempting to make a dog pee zone (ultimately failed)
Ordered cat food and litter for delivery
Took care of the sick one who is still very sick
Finally got some of her medications, which were overdue
Started writing my January 2022 to-do list (better late than never)
Scanned / sent important academic papers
Congratulated someone on their success, with lots of love

Edit - Going to doctor for daughter for PCR test, right now. She was finally allowed one.
Doctor will do it from the car. Fingers crossed.

^^ Issabella, your work ethic puts me to shame. :( For somebody ASD level 2, I don't know how you manage. I'm ASD level 1, supposedly high functioning, and I guess I am, but still, i don't know how I would handle the direct pressure that's put on top of you, day to day right now. I'd hope to do as good a job if i was in your circumstances.

Merci, mes amis.

She was allowed the test urgently because she's so immunocompromised. It's the long test so we won't know for quite a few days apparently, and if she's positive we both need to isolate for 21 days, again because she's immunocompromised and her system takes much longer to fight infections.

Fingers crossed that she'll start feeling better either way.

It's been a very rough start to the year but we're managing, and she was able to eat today for the first time.

She's lost a ton of weight and that's the scariest part of it all.

Yeah got to think clearly and pragmatically. What are the best steps to take in any given situation. I don't want to worry you, but, timing is important. If if you think somebody's health is deteriorating, should never hesitate, should always act! Better to be over zealous, and risk wasting medical peoples time, than let things slide. Just have to monitor the situation and make smart decisions. Better safe than sorry. It's a balancing act.

Managed to go outside and get the mail w/o having as big of an anxiety attack as I usually get. I wish I lived in the woods with no one around.

^ well done, you!

(I live in the woods, and I have to go to town to get my mail. Have to go into town for verything, in fact, because there's no such thing as a delivery out here. Or a pick up)
