A friend had his robot vacuum cleaner break. He said if I can fix it I can keep it.

I didn't know anything about this vacuum. Even what brand it was. It had Roborock written on it. I Googled for Roborock and found it was a Xiaomi. I downloaded the Xiaomi app and hunted around to change the language from Chinese to English.

It gave an error message saying "check the laser". It turned out the lidar wasn't spinning. I had to remove several layers of casing before I could remove the lidar unit. I found a Youtube video that said you could restore motion to the lidar unit by stripping the wires out of a USB cable and plugging it in the phone changer and then applying the wires directly to the terminals on the motor. I let it run like this for a few seconds and this unjammed the motor.

I put the lidar unit back in and reassembled the casing and it worked. So I got an $800 robot vacuum cleaner for free.

I socialized with people I didn’t know before, and did math homework for around 4 hours.

It was the Lindisfarme Riches mission with Ulf Ironbeard - I thought I was never going to make it but I finally managed to kill all the warriors and peasants, using just two characters - Ulf and Godric :D

My new achievement today: I bought two PS4 games (Railway Empire and Kingdom Come: Deliverance) for a discount price :D
