Sat on my butt for about 3 hours waiting for a customer to flip a switch, then 1 more hour waiting for an account. Then i did some work and finally tonight i caught a cold so no retro computing show for me this weekend.

At least i get to sleep tomorrow morning...

I finished second in my Toastmasters club speech contest. I was surprised I did that well because I didn't think it was a particularly good speech.

Your worst critic is yourself. It was probably better than you thought.

Many people would simply applaud someone for the act of standing and giving a speech, regardless of what it was about. Not many even dare to walk up to a podium.

I washed my duvet cover, all my household cushion covers and floor mats, cleaned the oven, completed some financial papers, walked my dog and survived several household accidents. It was a clumsy day. I haven't even picked up my book yet, but now it's too dark. :(
