Boating too fast and carelessly kills more manatees every month than I could eat in a year.

They probably don't differ much from drivers; each one believes themselves the Most Important Person in the World.

Do people really eat manatees? They don't look particularly tasty.

Never heard of anyone eating manatees.

Once I fed a manatee lettuce.

As April Fools Week draws to a close, let's clear up the record. While I wouldn't turn down a plate of manatee if offered one, I have no plans to go on a hunting expedition at this time.

I was being absurd, on purpose, although people do eat whales.

Manatees were also used, seriously, in the Christian Bible, as part of the fixtures of the temple.

I would rather feed an animal, than glory in it's harm.
