The 2000 Austrailian TV production of the 1959 nuclear holocaust movie "On The Beach"

Agreed. I still like the original, but I like the 2005 better.

The New Addams Family. The older has great actors, but the main drawback is the low budge, low tech work. The redone series expands on that.

Good to know I'm not the only one. Though I will admit to Jack Black to probably being miscast and Adrian Brody was a bore and the CGI is pretty noticeable especially the Blue Screen or Green Screen. The new Kong's effects were better and while I still probably prefer the original I will admit to liking that Kong more than the original Kong.

I like the remake of Last House on the Left much more than I do the original. I also prefer the Americanized remake of The Ring over the original Japanese version. Also I found The Addams Family movies to be better than the tv show or cartoon.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers 1978 (I still think the 1956 original is a very good movie though!)
Dark Water
The Uninvited
The Ring
One missed call

the American series Resurrection rather than the French Les Revenants

I liked the more recent version of Battlestar Galactica, but I don't think the original black and white series looks very interesting at all.

Pound Puppies (2010 series)
Way better than the show from the 80s. And also very underrated. If you have Netflix. I recommend you watch it. All episodes are on there.
