I think if humans were gone it would reset itself in time.If all the other beings on the planet figure that out we are toast,and we would deserve it.

i take some cold comfort from the fact that there is an "earth II" elsewhere in the milky way that is slightly larger and slightly cooler, and has no humans on it.
