Writing and Poetry acceptance guidlines.

I have few questions regarding the Poetry and Writing area.

1. How long is the wait for acceptance?

2. a. What is the need for acceptance of a poem?
2. b What is the criterion? Is it verbosity? Is it talent? Or is the content being censored?

3. Why is there not a acceptance on forums if it is necessary to have writing and poetry accepted?

I truly don't understand this.
