They seem to be going obsolete. Fewer and fewer places have one nowadays. And schools are starting to no longer teach kids how to read them. As a consequence, kids grow up not being able to read an analog clock.

I've noticed heaps of analogue clocks around.
There's an analogue clock in every classroom in the schools here.
It is still taught in schools.
Maybe it's different where you live.

It may be because digital clocks are used on all the electronic devices partly because it saves viewing space. I rather digital because my bad vision & dyslexia make it hard for me to notice what hand is on what & then it takes me a few minutes to count to the minutes to get to the number the big hand is on.

I always struggle to tell the time on analogue clocks when I'm stressed.
