MLK was moving to organizing labor. He recognized the importance of Black independence, actually. He didn't intend to exclude whites, ever.

In alternative history, 'MLK' (not his real name) was blamed of many of the same social offenses as Occupy. Rather than contesting the agitators, he would be agitator #1.
