Life used to be so simple before the eukaryotes came along and started ruining everything.

True, but you are letting the Prokaryotes off the hook somewhat...

Five Thirty Eight Podcast - How The Baby Boom Changed American Politics

Quote:
In his new book “Aftermath: The Last Days of the Baby Boom and the Future of Power in America,” Washington Post national columnist Philip Bump argues that many of the fissures that the country is facing today — politically, economically, culturally — have to do with the Baby Boomers getting old. In this installment of the FiveThirtyEight Politics Podcast, Galen Druke speaks with Bump about what he found.

It's all millennials' fault. All of it. Neo-cons, Craptocurrency, idolizing idiots like Elon Musk / Jeff Bozos / Zuckerberg, hip-hop bimbos 'n pimps, and especially idiot drivers.

Often have thought on the blame of an entire generation at fault ...And would happily cast blame ..
except. that the Political associations groom these monsters from early teenage years , i have read .
Do not think these people are associated with a particular generation . But rather with business heads and old school well monied families and will go on as long as common people have no say in Government positions .
hmm.. Money .. Gross National product of the USA is 2/3rds military Industrial complex . Kinda wonder where the money might be, Financing these elections .( These people whom should be held criminally liable for lives destroyed by constant extreme inequities/ disparities in US society .) Wait sorry am off topic ? yes blame the boomers .

Must admit to agreeing with the above Post aswell . particularily the last one on the list.

Yes and no. The boomers should have had had more of a spine, but millennials and gen x are hardly better. Each one has had mild cultural victories such as the civil rights act and lgbt acceptance. However, imo, even on the civil rights front the boomers accomplished more. You do not see millennials and gen x having anti-war marches and the environmental protests are largely performative. The older gen Z members are the only who seem to have any labor solidarity
